ARERR [2009] No servers are specified on the command line or in the AR System directory file.

On UNIX, if you used the -x command-line option to identify one or more servers, the system could not connect to any of the specified servers. BMC Remedy Administrator cannot start without a server to connect to.
If you did not use the -x command-line option or are using Windows, the AR System directory file is empty or contains references to inaccessible servers.
